Description
New Architects is an all-original modern jazz quartet. Formed in 2003, New Architects has a wide range of influences including rock, drum and bass, Latin, and ambient sounds. Influenced by groups such as Esbjorn Svensson Trio, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Ben Monder, New Architects blurs the line between traditional jazz and modern sounds. The band includes Paul Gillespie on tenor sax, Eric Svirida on guitar, Mark Smith on drums, and Matt Hopper on double bass.
